Easy Homemade Strawberry Jam

Holding onto the last few days of summer with this one. Store bought jam often contains a lot of added sugar, so I love the option to DIY Jam. And in case you did not know: Making jam is actually super easy! Choose whatever combination of berries you like. This recipe is without pectin, so it is little more chunky, and a little less jelly. But, it is super delicious. I did this one with a mix of Strawberries and Raspberries.

Ingredients:
4-5 cups of berries
1/2 cup cane sugar
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Pinch of Kosher salt
Start by cleaning the berries. I recommend doing a vinegar/water rinse.
Coarsely chop the berries and add to a deep pan. I recommend dutch oven.
Add the sugar, lemon and salt and slightly mash the berries.
Bring to boil and boil for approximately 20-30 minutes, stirring frequently, until thickened.
Remove and add to jar. Store in fridge or freeze.
